One of the most active participants in the 112 EXPO,  Occupational Safety and Health Directorate of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy of the Republic of Serbia, organized also another Seminar with a more than important theme: Chemicals at the Place of Work.

The representatives of this Directorate, Agency for Chemicals, Cleaner Production Center, Labour Inspectorate and the Work Medicine presented their experiences, dilemmas, scopes and norms related to the classification, packing and marking of the chemicals and REACH regulations of the EU concerning chemicals control, then the contents of the safety list and label, information on the dangerous characteristics of the chemicals, as well as the production ban and limitation, sales and the use of especially dangerous chemicals. Special focus was put on the Chemical Leasing, replacement of dangerous matters by non-dangerous or less dangerous ones.

The Seminar was closed by the employee work conditions and requirements exposed to chemicals and agents, the last prospect victim in the chain of them in case of chemical accidents.
