„Health is not all, but if you are not healthy – you don’t have anything“ said Prof. Dr. Miodrag Stojkovic, the world distinguished geneticist at the Opening Ceremony of 36th MEDIDENT. His brief sentence showed his attitude concerning the importance of health and medicine as the field of science. He also mentioned that The Medicine and Stomatology Fair has o long tradition, constantly advancing, and the right place to showcase medical achievements. Besides those who have come to present their products and services, the important fact is that a lot of young people have shown in the Hall 4 to see and learn something new. On behalf of Ministry of Health which fully support this event, Dr.Perisa Simonovic, State Secretary, said that MEDIDENT has several features – tradition, showcasing innovations, but above all, using them in practice, in diagnostics and treatments. He has particularly emphasized that Ministry of Health supports a series of lectures as a part of the Accompanying Programme, within even better organisation of the exhibition. „Representatives of private and public sector have gathered at one place, offering expert lectures and presentations as well as a range of medical equipment, remedies and supplies“, said Dr. Simonovic. „And that is not all, since the organisers have not forgotten the citizens who can use numerous free medical services at MEDIDENT. Belgrade Fair and Ministry of Health have the same future goal, the patients being the most important connection between them. MEDIDENT will last until Saturday, 15th October. |
